Dr

Margaret Kertesz

Research Fellow

Margaret Kertesz is a Research Fellow with the ARC Centre of Excellence for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (CEVAW) at the University of Melbourne.

Margaret’s research focuses on practice and policy responses to substance use coercion and other ways in which families experience both family violence and substance use, the impact on children of domestic violence, and approaches that promote recovery post-violence, with a focus on evaluation, applied research and knowledge translation. She works closely with service providers to promote good practice and the systems that support it, including a range of projects on cross-sector collaborative work.
