Jennifer Boddy is a distinguished academic and internationally recognised researcher in domestic violence, disaster response, and social work and sustainability. A passionate advocate for social justice and environmental wellbeing, her research explores the vital connections between human health and the natural environment. As Dean (Sustainability and Rankings) at Griffith University, Jennifer leads the implementation of the University’s Sustainability Strategy, aligning her work with the institution’s mission and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. She maintains strong industry ties through roles with national and international social work and education bodies. Since earning her PhD in 2009, Jennifer has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and reports. Her research impact is reflected in a Google h-index of 26 (Web of Science: 16; Scopus: 19). She has secured over $1 million in research funding and successfully supervised 13 higher degree research students to completion.
