Terri Farrelly

Research Fellow

Terri Farrelly is a Doctor of Health Science and a Research Fellow at the Centre of Excellence for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (CEVAW) at Macquarie University.

Terri is a settler researcher and author whose work has been dedicated to Aboriginal suicidologies and addressing racism and discrimination through truth-telling. Based in the Department of Critical Indigenous Studies at Macquarie University, Terri has enjoyed a collaborative working relationship with Distinguished Professor Bronwyn Carlson since 2004. Together they have co-authored the book Monumental Disruptions: Aboriginal People and Colonial Commemorations in So-Called Australia (Aboriginal Studies Press, 2023) and an edited international collection titled The Palgrave Handbook on Rethinking Colonial Collaborations (Palgrave Macmillan, 2023).
