As part of its Gender in Focus Workshop Series the Curtin Node of the Centre of Excellence for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (CEVAW) is delivering a workshop titled Gender in Focus Workshop Series: Gender and Climate Change on Friday, 30 May 2025.

This workshop will bring together researchers and policy experts to explore the multifaceted intersections between gender and climate change.

With sessions spanning topics from the impacts of climate shocks on family dynamics and violence against women, to the links between climate change, gender and institutions, the workshop aims to foster evidence-based dialogue and collaboration.

By featuring cutting-edge research insights, the workshop seeks to deepen understanding and inform more equitable climate resilience and policy responses that consider the unique vulnerabilities and contributions of women.
