2025 Annual Report

2025 marks CEVAW’s second year as an ARC Research Centre of Excellence, a year defined by remarkable growth and continued strengthening of the foundations to carry our long‑term mission forward. This report highlights some key research outcomes, the Justice-Denied conference, the first of its kind in the Indo-Pacific region, and introduces the CEVAW Evidence Platform, an open-access interactive digital platform hosting all CEVAW research outputs, including the annually-updated, Global Women’s Safety Index the first open-access tool to identify and quantify ‘How safe are women across the globe?’

2024 Annual Report

Following our establishment, the past year has been a busy time for our Centre. We held our inaugural research symposium and officially launched our Centre with the Assistant Minister for Women, The Hon Kate Thwaites and Australian Research Council Chief Executive Officer Dr Richard Johnson in December 2024. We also delivered multiple research and training events across our nodes.
