Aimen Siddiqui

HDR Candidate

Aimen Siddiqui is a PhD candidate with the ARC Centre of Excellence for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (CEVAW) at Monash University.

Aimen’s doctoral research focuses on Understanding International Students’ Experiences of Technology and its Harms. Her work contributes to emerging scholarship on digital harms and the safety of mobile student populations across Australia. She has experience in gender research and victim advocacy, having collaborated on projects addressing minority rights, human trafficking, and gender-based violence. Aimen holds two gold medals for academic excellence in Gender Studies at both the bachelor’s and master’s levels. She is currently expanding her expertise through criminological scholarship as part of her doctoral program.
