Quynh Nga Do

Research Fellow

Quynh Nga Do is a Research Fellow at Curtin University Node of the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (CEVAW).

She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Monash University and is an empirical economist with a keen interest in issues at the intersection of gender and politics. Her doctoral research examines the underrepresentation of women in Australian state-level politics through a regression discontinuity approach. Additionally, Quynh Do has conducted research in political, cultural, environmental, and health economics. Her recent co-authored work, published in Social Science and Medicine, systematically reviews literature on attitudes toward the use of AI in healthcare from the perspectives of patients, the general public, and health professionals, providing a comprehensive understanding of these issues.
