Revathi Krishna

Research Fellow

Revathi Krishna is a Research Fellow at the Centre of Excellence for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (CEVAW) at Monash University.

She completed her PhD in Psychology from Monash University in 2021, and Masters in Clinical Psychology from Morehead State University, Kentucky, USA. Her research interests are in the intersection of mental wellbeing and trauma, particularly within contexts of disasters, gender-based violence, and abuse, especially for marginalised communities.  Revathi is the recipient of Monash University Accident Research Centre’s Seeding Grant to investigate current evidence surrounding disaster preparedness messaging for multicultural communities in Australia. Revathi’s work has been published in reputed journals such as the Lancet Psychiatry, Trials, BMC Psychiatry, the European Journal of Psychotraumatology, and the International Journal for Disaster Risk Reduction to name a few.
