Associate Investigator

Professor Tristan Kennedy is an Associate Investigator with the ARC Centre of Excellence for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (CEVAW).

Professor Tristan Kennedy is a Noongar Aboriginal man and is the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Indigenous) and Senior Vice-President at Monash University. Before joining Monash, Professor Kennedy was Associate Professor and Director of Research Training at the Department of Indigenous Studies at Macquarie University. His leadership approach is firmly focused on building capacity for future Indigenous researchers in Australia and internationally. Professor Kennedy has contemporary research interests, attracting growing international interest and collaboration, in areas such as identities in online social spaces, Indigenous studies and education, and digital communication technologies.
